Chijindu Kelechi Eke, Principal Consultant and Founder of eComp Solutions, has many years of
Information Technology experience and has achieved expertise in software engineering,
E-Business solutions, E-Commerce, web application development, and database application
programming. To complement this skill set, he has been recognized as a
Microsoft Certified Solution Developer and as a Microsoft Certified
Professional in Site Building (MCP+SB). It is noteworthy that Mr. Eke is one of
2,040 developers worldwide with this unique credential (Reference:
Microsoft Certified Professionals Magazine). In addition, Mr. Eke keeps current with the
latest trends and technologies through active membership in the Association of
Information Technology Professionals. In 1994, he attained his Bachelor of Science degree
in Computer Information Systems and Mathematics from East Texas Baptist University
at Marshall, Texas. In 2003, he graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a
Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management & Consulting. And in May 2009, Mr. Eke received
a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the same institution.
In the Telecommunications industry, Mr. Eke served as a lead Commerce Server
2002 and ASP.NET consultant on e-commerce projects that integrated client’s
web processes with their existing J.D. Edwards One World XE MRP system.
The websites would allow users to place
orders, track customer purchasing behavior, reduce process redundancy, allow
customer self-service where applicable, and allow customers to manage account
information as well as contact client personnel when necessary.
The system implemented web-specific
marketing programs, product discounts, and greater ability to segment user base
by customer type.
In the Financial Management industry, Mr. Eke developed
and implemented a system to support the standard business process for ATM
replenishment as defined by U.S. ATM Services. The system was developed using
Microsoft.NET technology to automate the ATM processes for branch operations;
to consolidate customer account management; and to integrate existing currency
and transportation processes and systems.
In the Insurance industry, Mr. Eke lead a team that developed software that allowed an
agent to enter data for specific policies and print completed applications,
which were ready for approval.
In the Retail industry Mr. Eke designed and implemented several e-Commerce
websites that allowed customers to add and remove items
from a shopping cart, search for product availability, check order status,
cancel unshipped orders and request order history reports. The sites supported
online credit card payments for purchased goods, and integrated order shipment
tracking through FedEx® and UPS®.
In the Health industry at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Mr. Eke
designed and maintained systems that tracked physicians' availability, supported
patients' appointment schedule, and tracked language translator availability for
non-English speaking patients.
Professional Certifications

The Microsoft® Certified
Professional credential is for individuals who demonstrate their expertise with
a particular Microsoft® product. Mr. Eke
became a Microsoft® Certified Professional after demonstrating in-depth
knowledge of Microsoft® Visual Basic 5.0 programming language. He retains the
certification after demonstrating in-depth knowledge of developing web applications
using Microsoft® Visual Studio.NET and Microsoft® Visual Basic.NET.

The Microsoft® Certified Solution
Developer (MCSD) credential is the premium certification for professionals who
design and develop custom business solutions with Microsoft® development tools,
technologies, and platforms. Core and
elective exams are required for the MCSD certification. The core technology
exams require candidates to prove their competency with solution architecture,
desktop applications development, and distributed applications development. The
elective exams require proof of expertise with Microsoft® development tools.
These exams are developed with the input of professionals in the industry and
reflect how Microsoft® products are used in organizations throughout the
world. Mr. Eke successfully met the
requirements for the MCSD credential.
Microsoft® Certified Professionals
with a specialty in site building are qualified to plan, build, maintain, and
manage Web sites using Microsoft® technologies and products. The credential is
appropriate for people who manage sophisticated, interactive Web sites that
include database connectivity, multimedia, and searchable content. Microsoft® Certified Professionals with
specialty in site building are required to pass web concentrated exams that
provide a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise.
Mr. Eke successfully met the requirements for the MCP + Site Building
credential.
